Hoy, 9 de mayo de 2023, se ha llevado a cabo un evento muy especial en el Museo del Gigante Extremeño en la localidad de Puebla de Alcocer. En presencia de la teniente alcalde Mariló Fernández, Félix Sánchez, concejal de cultura y Pablo Ruiz, director del museo, la representante del Museo Nacional de Antropología, Dña. María Molinero Zapata, entregó el bastón del Agustín Luengo Capilla al Museo del Gigante Extremeño en calidad de depósito temporal.
El bastón, una pieza de gran valor histórico y cultural, es propiedad del Estado y se ha asignado a la colección estable del Museo Nacional de Antropología. Ahora, se exhibirá en el Museo del Gigante Extremeño, donde los visitantes podrán disfrutar de su belleza y significado a partir de mañana miércoles, cuando abra sus puertas al público.
Este es un momento emocionante para el Museo del Gigante Extremeño y para la localidad, ya que esta pieza única ayudará a destacar la importancia cultural y patrimonial de la zona. La entrega del bastón también es un ejemplo de la colaboración y el apoyo entre las instituciones culturales.
